Douglas D. Harkins, M.D.
Dr. Harkins is a Jackson native and a graduate of Ole Miss. His medical degree is from the University of Mississippi Medical Center where he also completed his residency and served as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine. Dr. Harkins completed a cardiology fellowship at UMC and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a founding member of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography.
Dr. Harkins also serves on the Board of Directors for the Mississippi Diabetes Foundation. A native of Jackson, he now lives in Madison with his wife Kimberly and their three children.
