We Are Taking These Steps to Continue to Provide Quality Patient Care: 1) Following CDC guidlines to keep our vulnerable heart patients safe. 2) Utilizing tlehealth to make sure that our patients' needs are met. 3) Maintaining a clean and safe enviroment for patients if they do need to have a test or procedure completed.

Jackson Heart Clinic has continued to be in contact with the Mississippi Department of Health and Centers for Disease Control on the status of the SARS-CoV-2 virus (COVID-19) and the disease it causes in our state and communities.

In an effort to both, protect our patients and continue to deliver vital care in urgent and emergency situations, Jackson Heart Clinic physicians and staff have initiated proactive and preventive measures to maintain a safe and effective environment for patient encounters at all of our clinic and hospital locations.

Effective immediately:

  1. All patients with an active fever, cough, or flu-like symptoms are asked to call and reschedule appointments/procedures.
  2. All patients who have traveled outside the country in the past 14 days are asked to call and reschedule appointments/procedures.
  3. Patients who have febrile illness, as stated above, or recently traveled and may have unstable cardiac symptoms are asked to call and speak to our triage nurses. Specialized care may be arranged individually.

Jackson Heart Clinic will be making every effort to remain open to our patients and serve their medical needs in as safe an environment as possible. Please note that special precautions and procedures for infection control are in place at our Dominican Plaza location in Jackson.

Our social media sites will be updated daily for immediate changes to our policies.

We will refer you to cdc.gov and msdh.ms.gov for details about COVID-19.
