Dr. Hutcheson is a graduate of the University of Mississippi in Oxford. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy. While in Oxford, he was the president of the student body of the School of Pharmacy. Dr. Hutcheson subsequently earned his medical degree at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he also served as student body president. His residency in internal medicine and fellowship in cardiology were both completed at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He is a member of the Mississippi State Medical Association and American College of Cardiology and previously served as a board member for the Southeastern Lipid Association.
Dr. Hutcheson currently practices at the Madison office of the Jackson Heart Clinic, with a primary focus in non-invasive diagnosis and treatment and prevention of cardiovascular disease.
Dr. Hutcheson and his wife, Linda, raised their three children in Madison and still reside in the area.
