Analise Douglas was born in Washington, DC and raised in Ridgeland, Mississippi. She completed undergraduate training in the Honors College at Howard University in DC, where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She went on to the University of Mississippi Medical Center to attend medical school, where she served as Curriculum Committee Student Representative for her class. She then went to Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey for her internal medicine residency. During her time there, she was honored with the Golden Apple Award for excellence in teaching and the Gold Humanism and Excellence in Teaching award. Dr. Douglas then attended the University of Connecticut at Hartford Hospital, where she completed her cardiovascular disease fellowship and her interventional cardiology fellowship. She also had the pleasure of speaking with churches in Connecticut about the prevention of coronary artery disease.

She is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, and echocardiography. She is a member of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and the Society of Coronary Angiography and Interventions (SCAI).

Dr. Douglas lives with her husband and daughter in Jackson. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading, traveling, writing, and attending church at Redeemer Church in Jackson.
