Born and raised in Jackson, MS, Dr. Catherine Lowe graduated from St. Andrew’s Episcopal School and later received a Bachelor of Science degree with honors, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting with honors from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. She went on to obtain her Masters of Biological Sciences from Mississippi College. She then attended the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, earning her medical degree.
Following medical school, Dr. Lowe completed a residency in internal medicine and fellowships in both cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. During her interventional cardiology fellowship, Dr. Lowe acquired focused training in peripheral vascular disease and structural heart disease.
Dr. Lowe is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. She is also a member of the American College of Cardiology.
As a native Jacksonian, she enjoys giving back to her community through working at the Jackson Free Clinic and volunteering with the Junior League of Jackson. Dr. Lowe currently resides in Madison with her husband and son. In her free time, she can be found hiking, traveling or water-skiing.
