2010 Associate of Applied Science in Nursing
ANCC Medical-Surgical Board Certified Nurse
Clinical Research Coordinator
Before coming to Jackson Heart Clinic’s Research Department in March of 2014, I worked at a local hospital on a medical surgical/ENT/EEG floor. While working in the inpatient setting I learned the importance of research. I served as Co-Chair of the hospital’s Nursing Clinical Policy Committee where we based our policies on the most current information provided to us through research studies. We have to have research to establish the most up to date and appropriate care for our patients. Here at Jackson Heart Clinic, I enjoy working as a Clinical Research Coordinator. I am currently working towards becoming a Certified Research Coordinator.
My husband and I have four children. Although it’s a hectic life, I love getting them all to soccer or softball practice and games. We spend most afternoons and weekends at a ballpark. When I do have time I enjoy gardening, painting, and other woodworking crafts.
